Teach respect for life.
Through awareness, education, and compassion, we teach respect for life to our fellow Alabama citizens. We do this by offering information, training, and special events.
Impact laws that support life.
We work with law-makers in Montgomery and across the State so that laws consider the importance of life. We do this by proposing and lobbying for pro-life laws.
Support life-minded officials.
Having public officials that believe in respecting and protecting life is important to us. We support candidates and elected officials by offering scorecards and publicity.
Where does it end?
Assisted suicide. Abortions. RU486. Planned Parenthood. Cloning. Stem Cell Harvesting. As a society, the level of respect we have for human life is at an all-time low. The question is, where does it end?
If we continue on this trajectory, things we think impossible today will be passed into law tomorrow.
Fortunately, when we work together, we have the ability to shape Alabama so that every life – from our start as an embryo to our natural end – is respected and protected.

We support the election of public officials who defend life.
Together, we’re shaping an Alabama that respects life.
More than 200 pro-life laws have been passed since 2010.
Through lobbying and working together with law-makers, Alabama Citizens for Life has assisted in passing laws that shape Alabama into a state that cares and aims to protect for all of our citizens – from conception to natural death.
78% of Alabama Residents say they are pro-life.
Through our efforts, and the efforts of many other organizations and citizens, Alabama is credited with a high percentage of pro-life citizens. But our work isn’t done. New ways to discredit and discourage life are always on the horizon.
Alabama is ranked as the most pro-life state in the United States.
